- Through its Training Scholarship Programme, the Galician company has signed an agreement with the organisation to provide training to patients and caregivers affected by the disease.
A Coruña, 6th march 2023.- Under a collaboration agreement, Northius and the Spanish Association Against Cancer are offering 20 training scholarships to the organisation’s beneficiaries, including patients suffering from the disease and their caregivers. The recipients of these scholarships will have access to several free training courses to enhance their employment prospects.
According to Héctor Pérez, Northius Sustainability Director, “At Northius, we recognise that long-term illnesses remove both patients and their caregivers from the labour market. As such, we are committed to offering training programmes to these groups through organisations that represent them, like the Spanish Association Against Cancer. Our training can help patients and caregivers reintegrate into the workforce after a prolonged absence.”

To demonstrate its commitment to the community, the Galician Group has launched a Training Scholarship Programme with a budget of one million euros. The programme involves collaborating with multiple organisations, companies, and associations to offer free training opportunities to their beneficiaries. The aim is to enable individuals associated with these humanitarian and social organisations to access the training provided by the Galician Group without any cost.
